Modern Racism

People always want to suppress the fact that racism is dead and that the United States has left that in the past. But in a reality, people has just become creative in expressing racist remarks. It may not be as flat out as it was before, but racism is very much alive today as it was back in slavery days. When Trump was elected president I think I was most shocked because of all his openly said racist phrases he made. Neustadt has 3 areas that evaluates the power of the president and one of them was the respect the president has from the public. In my opinion his morals are out of wack, he's the most disrespectful and obnoxious president I had to bare witness to. I have to admit that he is a business person and he is very good at persuading people to vote his way. It's sort of scary that the realization of the citizens of America are very angry. I believe that is why people voted for him because they were tired of unemployment and poverty and having to compete with illegal immigrants for work because companies would rather hire cheaper labor. He has done a few good things for this country, but the way he goes about getting his way is comparable to a 3 year old throwing an all out tantrum in the middle of the candy aisle. I understand people wanting to migrate to escape their nightmare for a brighter future and coming through the right way is reasonable. I understand the frustration that people feel regarding this issue, but do we have to add discriminating phrases in the process of correcting our flaws?
